Flooring in Heidelberg

Heidelberg is a major health and services hub in Melbourne’s north-east, with hospitals, specialist suites, offices and established homes sharing the same streets. 8K Flooring Group supplies and installs flooring for Heidelberg’s medical and commercial tenancies as well as its homes, from our base in Coolaroo.

Medical suites and allied health

Specialist rooms, consulting suites and allied health practices need floors that clean easily and hold up to equipment, chairs and steady patient traffic. Sheet vinyl with heat-welded seams and cove skirting is a common specification for treatment rooms. Waiting areas and offices often suit commercial vinyl or carpet tiles. We install to the specification and do not invent clinical or slip ratings. See healthcare flooring for more.

Working around patients

Clinics usually cannot close for long. We stage installs room by room, after hours or over weekends when the program allows, and plan dust and odour control with you.

Offices and services

Professional offices around the activity centre suit carpet tiles for acoustics and easy replacement, with vinyl in kitchens and amenities.

Homes

Heidelberg’s established homes, many on sloping blocks with split levels, need careful planning of transitions and stairs. We install vinyl plank in living areas and carpet where comfort matters.
